Scholars experience interactive sessions that will develop skills such as reading, writing, critical thinking, professional etiquette and public speaking. Through a unique curriculum designed to enhance these skill sets, the DREAM program inspires diverse students to become knowledgeable and pursue advanced degrees in the legal profession.

The key to the program is the unique learning experience created by attorney volunteers from corporations and law firms that actively collaborate and work with the students. Through skills-based volunteerism, that allows attorneys and professors to share their experiences and talents, students are given a unique view of the legal profession that is personal and insightful, while law firms and corporations are given a unique opportunity to come together and empower the next generation of promising scholars.

The Challenge

The majority of individuals (of all ages) lack access to legal knowledge & resources.

Many young people and adults lack opportunities to develop the legal knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to thrive and succeed as informed, empowered, and civically-engaged community members. Without access to practical legal knowledge, our populations become vulnerable to higher rates of unemployment, conflict, homelessness, violence, consumer abuse, civic disengagement, and other unfair treatments.

The Solution

Educate & empower those who need it most

Our program reduces these risks by teaching and empowering law-related education to the populations that need it most.  The goal is to enhance knowledge skill sets that are essential for students to progress successfully through high school, college and life.

The key is the unique learning experience created by law professionals and volunteers from corporations and law firms that actively collaborate and educate students about the law and our legal system while empowering  the next generation of promising scholars.
